"Original! Fascinating! Breathtaking. . .Leadbeater really adds to the genre!"
JOHN PAUL DAVIS, author of The Templar Agenda, a top 3 UK thriller.

The Bones of Odin is the first of an initial four part series which should be read in order. The second ~ The Blood King Conspiracy ~ the third - The Gates of Hell and the fourth-  ~ The Tomb of the Gods ~ are out now!

Did ancient Gods like Odin and Zeus and Thor once really exist?

The time has come for a grand adventure filled with high excitement and explosive action.

Matt Drake, a retired SAS officer, must unravel a mystery older than time in his search for the Nine Pieces of Odin. Though scattered aeons ago, it is believed that once the Pieces are reunited they will show the way to the Tomb of the Gods- the greatest archaeological find of all time.

From a rocket attack on the Louvre to a battle in a Swedish cavern, from a daring helicopter raid on New York's National History Museum to an assault on a gangsters mansion in Hawaii, Matt Drake must find the world's oldest treasure in one of the wildest places on earth, searching for the very bones of the Gods with the spoils of victory being the entire world.

Length of book - 72,000 words

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good read! 20 Feb 2013

This book is a real page-turner, with an ex- SAS officer competing with the bad guys to locate an ancient artifact to save the world format.
With a lot of suspense, Matt Drake and his associates give the opposition a run for their money in this international adventure.
My only complaint is that Drake's character is not well-rounded enough although that might be rectified in following books in the series.
I have bought the next book which in itself is a recommendation!

4.0 out of 5 stars So far so good 15 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I'm about half way though, and so far I like it. Some of the plot is a bit far-fetched (such as discovering the One tree in about 5 minutes), but I'll probably buy the next in the series

1.0 out of 5 stars Suspend all common sense before reading
While some other reviews had mentioned this book was a bit far fetched I didn't think it would be as bad as it actually is. I will not be buying any more in the series.
