I am a real fan of both Jefferson Bass and the Forensic Anthropology genre and this latest offering from Bass did not disappoint. Saying this, it was not the usual forensic anthroplogy fare as it focussed on radiation posioning, with a historical story running through it. However, the story was extremely interesting and gripping from beginning to end. As a measure of just how gripping, I started reading this last night and was up half the night reading it. I then spent the whole of today finishing it. The characters were well drawn, and the details of their lives unfolfed at just the right pace and the right times to suppor the story and the drama. The personal lives of the three main characters from all the body farm books were also developed further. The ending was brilliant and I did not guess how the stories would pull together at all. This was a brilliant book and I would highly recommend this, as well as all the eother body farm books by Jefferson Bass.
