How can one single review possibly do justice to what’s on offer in this spectacular Bond Ultimate Collectors’ Set? Contained within it are not only all 21 of 007’s big screen adventures, but also an equal number of extras discs that dig behind the movies themselves. And those extras alone will happily rob you of hour after hour of your life.
What’s more, the Bond Ultimate Collectors’ Set has been brought right up to date by the inclusion of the recent rebooting of the franchise, Casino Royale. This alone is a terrific film, and offers some exciting glimpses into where the franchise can go now with Daniel Craig in the title role.
But let’s not forget the fine actors who preceeded him. The Bond Ultimate Collectors’ Set goes right back to that first appearance of 007 in the form of Sean Connery in Dr. No. From there, enjoy George Lazenby’s sole outing as Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, the Roger Moore era commencing with Live and Let Die before arriving into the 80s with Timothy Dalton’s pair of movies in the lead role. The franchise then received another reboot of sorts with Pierce Brosnan in the excellent GoldenEye, before he eventually--and reluctantly--passed the mantle onto Daniel Craig.
What’s so pleasing though is how so many of these films hold up. Not only are you getting a pretty much unrivalled journey through cinema’s most enduring action franchise, there’s also so much to enjoy. Everyone will have their favourites in the Bond Ultimate Collectors’ Set: for this reviewer, count From Russia With Love right up there at the top. And even if that’s not your own choice, there are plenty of other candidates in this superb and highly collectable set. --Jon Foster

You just can't get better value for money than this what a great collection of movies. Hours and hours of fun! Roger Moore is the best Bond - no question. Ok Sean is the best but Roger is my fav! All the movies in one box - it will take a week to get through these at least.

Always wanted to add a James Bond collection, but am so glad I held out until now. This is the 'Ultimate' collection, by using the latest restoration process each movie's sound and picture is fantastic; so if you are watching From Russia with Love, Live or Let Die, through to Casino Royle all movies look and sound fantastic; in particullar my favourite Goldfinger.
The only downside, which is a very small issue is that the movies are not in order; as they are the four collections and the double disc of Daniel Craig's recent outing in Casino Royle, but their is a correct list on the bottom of the box; so you can watch the movies in the correct order. Buy this collection, you'll never regret it!

I needn't review the Bond films here but a few comments on the set.
-It contains the four previously released 'Ultimate' mini sets with five Bonds in each one; packaged together with a 2 disc retail version of Casion Royale. This means the Bonds aren't in chronological order; and the dvd slip cases on the first 20 are the thin single verions, common in NTSC box sets; packaged within the 4 Ultimate sleeves. It's a little bit slipshod, especially as the Casiono Royale doesn't match. -The box itself however is very small and neat, which is a boon if like me your space is limited. -Each film is the 2 disc ultimate version, so regardless of packaging there is no scrimping on the films themselves, these are the best dvd releases available. -I bought it locally at £99 which is great value for the full Bond series. So if you're interested in presentation and want something 'extra special' then perhaps wait for a different release. If however you want the full Bond set at a good price and neatly packed together, I certainly recommend it.
