Product Description

The Bolse Wireless Presenter is an all-in-one tool that packs in multiple capabilities to help presenters and educators take their presentations to the next level.

Multi-tasking Made Easy
With buttons that mimic the function of an actual mouse, a scroll pad and a laser pointer all built-in a single device, the Bolse Wireless Presenter makes multi-tasking super easy. Just point and click to get the desired result. And when it is a matter of accurate presentations, the laser pointer comes handy directing the attention of listeners to the subject matter.

Ergonomic Design
Designed for both left and right handed users, the Bolse Wireless Presenter sits comfortably in the palm of your hand with all buttons accessible to touch. Power on/off to the side, laser, fullscreen buttons to the top, scroll and mouse buttons to the center with Fly Air and mouse enable buttons to the bottom can all be controlled with the thumb without having to fidget too much.

Portability Ensured
The wireless receiver hides inside the back panel of the presenter tool and a neat cushioned carry pouch with space for additional batteries improves its transportability while ensuring protection against bumps, abrasions and falls. Add to this the compact design and slim nature, one can easily pack it inside a laptop bag for long distance travel.

Plug-n-Play
Operating on 2.4GHz frequency, the receiver automatically installs its drivers on any system, be it Windows or Mac OS. From then on, simply point, connect and use the remote as you would an actual mouse.

Giving presentations on a computer, laptop or a projector can be visually stimulating but can also be confusing without proper direction from the presenter.

I was given this product by Bolse to test, review and keep in return for an honest review.

As a University Lecturer, I give a lot of presentations and seminars where I use Power Point. This device is designed to be a laser pointer and mouse for use with Power Point. It appears to be very well made and the design department at Bolse have thought very carefully about how this product feels in your hand. It is very comfortable to hold and use. The unit comes with a USB plug in device, this is located in the battery compartment. Plug this USB receiver into a USB port and the handheld device begins to work with your computer. It took about 30 seconds for Windows 7 64 Bit to download the correct drivers to make this little beauty work. The layout is very easy to work out and if you get stuck the instructions are pretty good to read and understand. The on/off switch is on the left hand side of the mouse. Looking at the device from left to right, the first button is the laser beam, then its the full screen enter/exit button. This button also doubles as the reload web page button, if you hold it for longer than 2 seconds. Below is the left mouse button, followed by the mouse wheel and the right mouse button. The mouse allows you to mark your text by pressing the next button. Next to this is the mouse rotating/moving button, which acts as if the mouse is moving around your desk and finally there is a button for removing tags. All of these functions work via the wireless signal and so far without any communication hitch.

Overall, this is a fantastic product, which is very useful when using Power Point. It takes a little getting use to, but the effort is well worth the time. I am therefore very happy to Highly Recommend it.

Highly Recommended.

Note: Bolse provided me with a review sample for evaluation the opinion expressed here is my own

This device is primarily intended for presentation use, but can equally be used on a normal computer. The Bolse came well packaged with clear and simple instruction on the various functions and how to use it.
Construction is solid with a glossy black finish on the top part, responsive buttons, and a softer feel underside which helps you maintain a grip on the presenter whilst holding it. It's very compact and comfortable to use.

Installation is very easy just pop open the battery compartment and remove the "nano USB" dongle, plug it into your computer and install the 2 supplied AAA battery cells. No drivers are required and you're up and running in very little time.

In use the presenter has 7 main buttons, a mouse type wheel (which also has a press button function on it) The top left button activates the Laser pointer it's got a long range and is very accurate and clear, other buttons duplicate the functions of a mouse left/right click and the wheel, there are two main modes for the "fly/air" mouse one being holding the button you can simply aim the presenter and the mouse pointer moves, releasing it de-activates the pointer control. Next to that is a button that toggles the "air mouse" mode on or off so you don't have to hold the button to move the pointer. Left/right click works as it does on a standard mouse meaning you can move/open/resize and close windows with ease.

You also have a button which allows you to move between PowerPoint presentations aka full screen or windowed view.

I give a lot of conference presentations and invariably use PowerPoint. I hate being tied to my laptop when doing this - pressing the spacebar to move on to the next slide - and have been looking around for a wireless presenter for a while. This device certainly fits the bill and includes some very useful add ons as well.

So what you get in the very smart box the Presenter comes in? Well with the device are 2 AAA batteries, instructions and and USB wireless usb receiver to connect the computer to the Presenter. Of course I didn't read the instructions and couldn't get the Presenter to work and worked out I needed a USB receiver. I then discovered this was included and was cleverly stored in the battery compartment of the presenter.

The Presenter is plug and play. When I first tried to use it with my Apple MacBook Air the Air seemed to think I was installing a keyboard. I removed the USB receiver and plugged it in again. It then worked perfectly. The presenter allows you start a PowerPoint presentation if PowerPoint is open, move backwards and forwards through slides, and very usefully blank the screen at any point allowing you to take questions for example at the end of a talk without the final slide still being shown. It also works with Apple's Keynote presentation software although not quite as smoothly.

The usefulness of the Presenter doesn't stop at this though. Built in is a powerful laser pointer which has a dedicated button and can be used during presentations. This means one less device to carry, and something that's very useful in its own right.

The Presenter can also be used as an 'air' mouse. In this mode the mouse pointer is moved my moving the Presenter in your hand through three dimensions.
