An excellent book on a fascinating small non-shedding breed with a long European history.I particularly liked the large number of photographs. I have judged Bolognese for a number of years including at crufts 2009 and this book was an invaluble guide. These intelligent affectionate little dogs are just a bit different from their more well known cousins, the other members of the Bichon family but are much more natural in coat presentation. I thoroughly recommend the breed and currently I believe this informative book to be the first written. Richard Haynes Manchester UK

An essential book for the Bolognese dog owner - especially as it is the only reference book for this breed. Covers most of what you might need to know - a must to read before you purchase one of these expensive dogs - however, if you intend breeding then you may find it not quite comprehensive/indepth enough.

Very informative book, the pictures were dated, but overall a good book for a rare breed dog. There are not many books available on this breed.
