I traveled through several cities in Emilia-Romagna and used this book as a guide.

The good point of the book - it is well arrange and it is easy to find info which you need right now, for instance food or hotel. I tried several restaurants described in the book and i was happy to find that price range and description were exactly as it is written.

The bad point is attraction description. The book provides the overview of main site seen places in the region, however, descriptions are extremely boring, just some historical facts, which could be interesting for person who study Italian history or art, but quite useless for ordinary tourist like me. Later, by searching in internet i discovered, that Bologna has a lots of interesting places and really funny and interesting stories about it. It is pity that only few of them are mentioned in the book.

The last thing about maps in the book. Maps are may be good, but completely invisible on my 6" kindle. it is impossible to use these maps, so i would recommend find and print maps in advance. For instance, the book does not say that historical part in Parma are relatively far from the train station and it is not so easy to find it (the map in the book show only historical part). It would be great if book would mention this fact and etc.
