Like a previous reviewer, I would also call this book a page-turner; I had to find out who the double was! I think Deepa makes a great role model for teenage girls - she wants to make the best of herself but is still modest and thoughtful. This is a great read for teenagers and, because it is well-written, would also be ideal for someone getting to grips with the English language.

I bought this for my 12 year old niece, but I also read it while we were away and have to say that both of us really enjoyed it. It was fast paced and definitely kept the interest, with lots of interesting little snippets that gave an insight into the Bollywood film industry and Indian culture. I would definitely recommend this for kids from 10-11 up to 14 or 15, I guess. (But I'm an adult and enjoyed it too!!). She said she can't wait to read the others in the series now!
