Product Description

Flow-Tech Venting frame designed to reduce fogging and optimize the flow of air over the inside of the lens. Venting ports control airflow, while preventing clogging from snow and ice. Triple layer face foam for ultra soft micro-fleece is the only material on your face, backed by two layers of multi density foam for a firm soft fit. Forstay system allows for swinging outrigger to maintain perfect fit with helmets. Equalizer Vent technology uses a waterproof, breathable vent to eliminate any moisture. The result is a distortion free vision and no fogging at any altitude.

Ive had other brands but these are the dogs. :-)

They look good, are great quality, don't fog and are worth the extra ££ you have to pay for a premium set of goggles. I just wish I'd invested sooner a few seasons ago.

I've had loads of goggles over the years, some cheap, some pricey and these are the best so far. The lens type I chose was good for most conditions apart from really foggy/misty but I used yellow glasses when it was like that. For all other conditions they were good and especially in really cold/snowy conditions - never fogged up even when wet inside due to a few tumbles.
Would buy again at the right price.

I have done a weeks skiing in these and I liked the look and they performed ok. They were slightly awkward fit with my ski helmet and so a bit fiddly to use.

Great for flat light - Look Nice 1 Mar. 2011
By B. Martini - Published on Amazon.com
Colour Name: Silver Pinstripe Verified Purchase
The Aurora lenses are great, they work very well in all conditions and are impressive in flat light. However, I had a problem with them as water sneaked in between the lenses, and it left water marks. That is not supposed to happen and I could exchange them very easily. I still have to ski with the new goggles so I don't know if that problem is fixed. I have had Bolle goggles for 20 years now and I never had a problem, so I imagine/hope that's a one-time issue.

One thing I have had trouble with during the purchase was that it is very hard to picture how the lenses look like. I debated a long time between the Aurora and the Vermillion Gun lenses. I had old Bolle Vermillion Gun lenses that had a mirror coating so people could not see your eyes. I loved them and I wanted to select something similar, but it seemed to me the new Vermillion Gun lenses are not 100% reflective anymore. I don't know if that's true only on pictures but I decided not to select them (also because they transmit 22% of light, compared to 45% for the Aurora lenses and I ski quite a light in flat light). So I picked the Aurora lenses. They don't have a mirror coating but still look very nice.

Defective lens coating 20 Feb. 2013
By Bob - Published on Amazon.com
I bought these from another site last January. I got hurt before I received them, so they were stored inside for the year. I've used them a few times this year, but they were too dark for overcast days. Brought them back out on a sunny day and the lens coating is all crinkled in three different places. Totally unusable. Many reviewers at Sierra Trading Post say the same thing happened to theirs. Maybe that vendor got a bad batch, but I won't risk Bolle goggles again.
