This is perhaps one of Spacemaker Press's best efforts - publication going softback in 1998 a bonus. O&V's writing, enhanced by the always challenging Ms Rademacher, project what is evident in their gardens/landscapes - confidence, vision and perfectionism in execution.
The gardens, indeed, look natural, yet are a result of meticulous research by an exemplary multidisciplinary practice. The format itself, is perhaps one of the book's greatest achievements - comfortable at the coffee table, useful by the drawing board...
