This is perhaps one of Spacemaker Press's best efforts - publication going softback in 1998 a bonus. O&V's writing, enhanced by the always challenging Ms Rademacher, project what is evident in their gardens/landscapes - confidence, vision and perfectionism in execution.

The gardens, indeed, look natural, yet are a result of meticulous research by an exemplary multidisciplinary practice. The format itself, is perhaps one of the book's greatest achievements - comfortable at the coffee table, useful by the drawing board... This volume stands out for three main reasons: the superiority of the work itself, the crisp writing/editing, and the outstanding photography...

I am absolutely positive that you cannot go wrong with this book, or any other by these two incredible designers. With an emphasis on ornamental grasses and very "naturalistic" design styles that are beautiful year round, you'll have a hard time putting this one down. Photographs are absolutely beautiful!! You will definitely not be dissapointed!!!
