Misty says:
My husband has a Canon SLR and without a doubt my favourite lens (when I can get to use the camera!) is the EF 50mm 1:1.8 II . I have just received the HX20V and can tell already it is going to be outstanding for most of what I like to do (travelling). I have read in some of the review of the HX20V that a couple of users are thinking of giving up their DSLRs. I am thinking the other way - that I will buy a DSLR so I can get the best bokeh effects. I am only a very amateur photgrapher but I love certain things and bokeh is one. Can I get better effects with the Sony than I am getting at present with my early practices? Any hints or advice would be much appreciated.
