5.0 out of 5 stars touching and funny, 20 May 2009
By
Agata Krajewska (UK) - See all my reviews

This review is from: A Body of Water (Paperback)
It's touching, funny and surprising - one minute I was laughing, then crying, then inspired. It's the kind of book you'd like to have on your shelf and open randomly at different times of the day and be moved in an unpredictable way. Easy to read, yet not superficial, beautiful illustrations. A true gem!

5.0 out of 5 stars Full to the Brim, 6 Jun 2009
By
C. Constantine "Charlotte" (Hampshire) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: A Body of Water (Paperback)
This collection delights in discovering life! It is full of poems, anecdotes, limericks, thoughts and illustrations that are a lovely mixture of silly, serious and sensitive writing. I read it completely from beginning to end the first time and have picked it up regularly since. It can be dipped in and out of at any time and leaves you smiling, thinking and imagining. My favourites are "The Morning Skies," "Strawberries and Champagne" and "The Four Truths".

5.0 out of 5 stars Madder than a March Hare, saner than Ghandi, 31 May 2009
This review is from: A Body of Water (Paperback)
A neat little number that will leave you laughing out loud one moment and scratching your head in confusion the next. Wadiz can move from the profound to the profane in an instant, and take you with him. Deep, insightful, and also pretty freakin whacko.
