This is a handy little pull up bar. It goes together in minutes and certainly feels sturdy enough in the door frame. I'm not so sure the foam hand grips will last ages of use, but that doesn't bother me as my last bar didn't have any foam at all.
I've put a fair bit of use into this already, and I'd say it's holding up well, not damaging the wood of my door and not leaving any black marks from the foam.
The included users manual does include some examples of a workout program, but seriously I think everything in it should be self-explanatory.
Be sure to measure your doorway before you buy this. There are 3 dimensions to consider, width of the molding, width of the doorway, and width of the doorjam. The product describes pretty clearly the width of the doorway (it'll fit most standard doors) and molding should be under 3.5 inches. Be sure to measure the width of your doorjam. I've got thicker doorjams in an old apartment building (a bit over 7 inches) and I don't think this would fit in my doorway if they were much thicker. As it is the little "safety wedge" thing that goes between the molding and the wall has to bend for me to slide this into place. Oh and also make sure your molding above the door protrudes from the wall at least half an inch.
They also sell this at Elvery's in Ireland for 20 euro.
All in all, a good purchase!
