Decent packaging, got it overseas in good condition.
Fairly easy to assemble, only a couple of bolts/washers/nuts to screw in.
Folds up to save space, not a lot mind you, but when it is folded it is out of the way so that is excelent. The way to fold/unfold could be easier though.
As for exercising, this machine is the best in one departement: People with bad knees. Elliptical trainers, exercise bikes and even walking can be strenuous for someone with bad knees but with this apparatus you get the heart rate going without flexing the knees at all.
After about 2 weeks of moderate daily use, still happy with the purchase.
Gave it 4/5 because the folding/unfolding could be made more pratical and because it squeaks a bit while exercising.

I owned an eliptical cross trainer a few years ago but had to sell it due to lack of space. I am 4 stone over weight and with painful ankles/knees I needed a way of getting active at home as I am also a single working mum with very few opportunities to get out even for a walk!
I managed to put it together on my own within an hour and having just spent 20 mins using it I felt I had to come on here and sing its praises. It takes up very little space compared to my old cross trainer and at less than £100 I think you'd find it hard to beat for quality and ease of use. I am thoroughly looking forward to hopping on again tomorrow evening for another 20 minutes and building it up from there.
At last I can get active at home, enjoy it and not feel my ageing joints complaining.

Had this air walker for over 2 years now and it's great except for the squeaks and rattles, it really does squeak quite badly, apart from the noises it's brilliant for burning calories indoors. A good 30 minute workout can see off 300 plus calories quite easily.

It takes a little getting used to which i wasn't really expecting but, after a bit of perseverance that soon wears off...

This has been a great exercise machine for me as i have very weak ankles due to fracturing them some time ago... I cannot recommend the air walker enough for people with a weakness in the ankles especially if you struggle with jogging and other impact exercises.

This is no impact exercise at it's very best and i cannot be grateful enough for the creators of this great product.

THE BSW 1700 STRIDER PRETTY MUCH DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO.THE NOISE WHEN OPERATING IT CAN BE QUITE DISTRACTING, BUT GIVEN TIME YOU BECOME ACCUSTOMED TO IT.ALL IN ALL, THOUGH NOT IN MY OPINION AS GOOD AS SOME OTHERS ON THE MARKET, ITS ADEQUATE FOR IN HOUSE FITNESS, FOLDS AWAY WHEN NOT IN USE FOR STORAGE.

We bought this after using a strider whilst on holiday in Spain. We had a few teething troubles at first but Body Sculpture were really helpful with these, via their website.

You can use it in front of the TV - which is great as long as you don't mind some background noise. It does not run silent. How much of the noise is a result of our lack of 'self assembly' skills we're not quite sure.

It's sturdy but not as obtrusive in the room as you might imagine.

Holding onto the bar enables you to exercise your legs. By using the handles you exercise your arms and legs together. Different members of our family have different preferences on the handle positions. They can be towards you or away from you. Although they are not designed for this you can rotate them between users.

It does not put too much strain on your knees.

The little electronic tracker is helpful.

Overall this is a great exercise product.

This is a great product and easy to use. If I had to make any adverse comments it would be to add the foot plates before they suggest as trying to do this when it's fully constructed is nigh impossible. Also the dials that increase/decrease tension could benefit from max/min markers. I loosened mine too far, the knob fell to bits and got a greasy mess on the carpet.
I wouldn't let this put you off - just be warned. Very good value

I was concerned having read previous reviews, however there are no squeaks or rattles and belt does not appear to be wearing excessively. Suggest that people having these problems did not put it together properly.
    Good product

Amazon delivered when they said they would. We had no problems with assembling the parts, instructions were clear and easy to follow. The strider is exactly what we wanted, even the children enjoy using with adult suppervision.
