I still have no idea why weight training books and dvds aim at men and women separately. Muscle works the same way on both! There are no different ways to exercise with weights for a male or female. You will not build bulk unless you want to and as a woman you would have to work damn hard to and take supplements too! Just a marketing angle.
Having said that, the exercises in this book are just the standard kettlebell moves just with suggested weight adjustments for us feeble females! Great in depth explanation of muscle, exercise and diet. Personally, I found the daily exercise programme very 'not challenging' so I tend to do two programmes per day but I do exercise regularly so I guess for a starter in Kettlebells the exercises and sets etc given would be apt.
Good explanation of technique with clear photos and if we can end up with the body on the cover, its worth it!
