4.0 out of 5 stars a really enjoyable read 14 Jan 2007
Format:Paperback
This is an amusing and witty book with a good clutch of characters, especially the relationship between Mother and daugther. The love story with Michael is very sweet and you are hoping that this time they can make it. The back cover reads like this

"Ellie Peters has a great apartment, cool job at the UN, terrific dog. Now all she needs is the right guy to share it with and life will be perfect. But everything is threatened the day her obessive-compulsive mother announces she divorcing Ellie's father and moving in with her! and to add insult to injury, Ellie's just learned that her ex-fiance, Michael has become her new boss!

Michael Deavers would love to rekindle what he and Ellie once had, but he learned from their brief engagement that he's just not a commitment kind of guy. Though with Ellie once again under his nose, it's hard to remember why he ever had cold feet.

Now Ellie is desparate to get Micheal out of her head, her mother out of her hair and her life out of the gutter... but old flames die hard, and this interpreter hasn't counted on the language of love.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun book 10 Nov 2004
By Annie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Ellies life is not going according to plan. She just broke up with her boyfriend and had to find her own place to live, her mother breezed into town after leaving her father because he had an affair, and her ex fiancé, whom she never really got over, is now her new boss at work and the sparks are about to fly.

Body Language is a fun, light, easy read that you will enjoy if you are a fan of chick lit. You will also adore Ellie and get a kick out of her mother and bull dog.

5.0 out of 5 stars Body Language has all the right moves! 27 Oct 2004

I loved this book! I picked it up because of the adorable cover, but I knew it would be a great read. Anything Criswell does is laugh-out-loud. Sparks flew between Ellie and Michael, the chemistry was sizzling. This really was one fun read and I highly recommend it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Too Bad This One Didn't Come With a Money Back Guarantee 8 Dec 2004
By EmGee - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I've enjoyed this authors previous works, so I was thrilled when I saw a new title. However, I found the story to be inconsistent, (time wise), and the characters dialogue and actions were wooden. The use of calling someone 'love' after almost every sentence was overkill and annoyed me to no end.
