An excellent book for women interested in fitness ( whether beginner or more advanced). I knew a lot of things covered in the book but the authors managed to pull together information from various sources to produce a very well-rounded guide to female training. It was very readable and had excellent tips and quotes from various fitness professionals - motivational and good to see how the experts do it. It covered training routines to nutrition to supplements to make-up. A good buy!

I ordered this book through another source and didn't have the opportunity to find out what it really was about. When I received the book I was nothing but pleased. This has everything in it you want to know, obviously in someone's opinion something will be missing but it is the closest thing I have found to include as much information as this book does.

The front cover of this book looks like any other run of the mill fitness book but, it was full of very useful information - routines, sample diets and lots of inspiring photos of top female body builders and fitness women. This book is also very educational, touching on everything and anything you need to know to compete within fitness or body building. I have been weight training for nearly a year and this book has given me lots of new ideas and plenty of inspiration to know the body I have pictured in my mind, is possible. I was disappointed when the book ended...it was such enjoyable reading! There aren't enough books like this specifically aimed at women who want to build muscle and not just 'tone'. We want to lift heavy weights too!
