Product Description

Triple bill of thrillers with a sexual theme. 'Body Double' (1984), one of director Brian De Palma's inspired reworkings of Hitchcock, has elements borrowed from both 'Vertigo' and 'Rear Window'. Recuperating after an attack of claustrophobia, out-of-work actor Jake Scully (Craig Wasson) spends his time spying on the stripper who lives opposite. This goes smoothly until Jake witnesses the stripper being brutally murdered with a power tool. After hearing that the police love to pin such crimes on peeping toms, Jake comes to realize that he is caught in a complex plot where nothing is quite as it first appears. In 'Dead Sexy' (2000), Shannon Tweed plays Kate McBain, a beautiful and dedicated cop who will do anything to bring a criminal to justice, even if that includes pole-dancing. Determined to catch the sadistic serial killer who has murdered a number of top-dollar Los Angeles prostitutes, Kate tries every trick in the book to bring an end to his twisted regime of terror. But then she starts falling for the mysterious Blue (John Enos), one of the main suspects in the case, and risks losing everything she's worked for in a hot flush of ecstasy and death. 'Diary of a Sex Addict' (2001) stars Michael Des Barres as Sammy Horn, a chef who works in an up-market restaurant. But behind his successful professional life and happy marriage there lurks a terrible secret: the man is a prodigious and unremittent sex addict. Deciding to seek help with his problem, Sammy visits psychiatrist Bordeaux (Nastassja Kinski) and tells her all about it. Can her help help him find the strength to fight the urge that so persistently compels him?
