I bought this on advice of my physio and have not been disappointed. Although the photos could be clearer, Lynne Robinson provides a tremendous attention to detail and to correct exercising. The background and lead-in chapters are well written and provide a really interesting summary on how Pilates has developed in recent years. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to start Pilates but who cannot get to a class.

This is a comprehensive summary of many of the main Pilates exercises, yet presents them in a well broken-down and easy to follow manner. The watchpoints for each exercise are a great idea for safely working out.I also take this book on my travels as it is ideal for post-long haulitis!
