This is a really informative book, without going into too much graphic detail, making it incredibly useful in helping explain bodily functions to children.
I have found it invaluable with my five year old son and we often refer to it when he asks us "tricky" questions about his body. It's also useful to know how much information is appropriate for his age.
We would definitely recommend it to friends to help with their children, and have even given it to parents we know as a gift when their child reaches a suitably inquisitive age!

I grew up with this book from around aged five, in the early 80s, and it's possibly unsurpassed as the best blend of information and education without glorifying or grossing out any aspect of the physical and emotioanl changes we go through in the most confusing years of our lives.
This is without doubt a book that will sit on my kids bookshelves!

A family friend bought me this book when I was a little girl. I am now 33 with a 7-year-old daughter. I still have the original book and find it very easy to read it and explain the body parts to my daughter. We used it the other day to do her school homework as she had to write a report on bones and the skeleton.
It is a fantastic book with great pictures and very clearly explains the body and it's functions. Would recommend to anyone.
