Double layered glass to retain heat. Perfect for two mugs. Infuser can stop tea leaves overbrewing. What is not to like. More astonishingly ours has been dropped on a solid floor and was entirel;y unfazed by the experience. For good tea this is in my view the only choice
Downsides? Well the fitting of the lid is not perfect but it is ok. highly recommended

Extremely expensive but good concept and makes excellent tea -while it lasts! Unfortunately there is a design fault causing the spout to fracture from thermal stress. I've had three hoping the fault was isolated or would be corrected but they all failed the same way after a couple of months. I see from other reviews of their products that this is a common problem and Bodum seems to be unresponsive. Much too expensive to try again!

I loved mine until I discovered a small crack in the inner pot - most disapointing. Would only try this item again if it was hugely cheaper, max £15.
