Any kitchen gadget should be simple to use and do the job well. On both counts the Bodum single serve coffee filter does just that. The top part contains your coffee with a wire mesh, like a regular electric machine. An inner sleeve which has many small holes in it is dropped in . Fill with water and put the lid on. This reduces the flow of the water out of it and so it drips evenly over the coffee.

Enough for a good mug of coffee, I rarely use the glass mug supplied, preferring instead to sit the the top part directly over my favourite mug.

Well constructed from good quality plastic and a toughened glass vessel my only gripe is the price but it will last a life time.

Summary - makes delicious, genuine filter coffee in minutes and takes up so little room you can leave it out and therefore use it every day.
