Grat tasting coffee everyday,

This review is from: Bodum Solo cup set with filter belgique, black (Kitchen & Home)
Any kitchen gadget should be simple to use and do the job well. On both counts the Bodum single serve coffee filter does just that. The top part contains your coffee with a wire mesh, like a regular electric machine. An inner sleeve which has many small holes in it is dropped in . Fill with water and put the lid on. This reduces the flow of the water out of it and so it drips evenly over the coffee.
Enough for a good mug of coffee, I rarely use the glass mug supplied, preferring instead to sit the the top part directly over my favourite mug. Well constructed from good quality plastic and a toughened glass vessel my only gripe is the price but it will last a life time. Summary - makes delicious, genuine filter coffee in minutes and takes up so little room you can leave it out and therefore use it every day.

Simple & quick real coffee,

This is without doubt the simplest and easiest real coffee maker I have ever used.
Just add ground coffee to the strainer, pop in the water diffuser, sit the whole thing on top of your mug and pour in hot water from the kettle. Really good and fairly good value as well. Obviously it only makes one mug full but you could use more coffee and distribute the brew amongst several cups adding hot water to dilute it. Very robust, almost unbreakable, dishwasher safe and light. Used mine for years now - highly recommended.

Originally got this as filter coffee supposed to be healthier than that from beloved cafetiere coffee - which is delicious but apparently not too good for the blood lipids. Have since read that it is coffee made with paper filters, rather than a metal mesh filter as in this case, that is healthier. This system is good if pricey, with the lid one places on the top unit after pouring water into the filter creating a vacuum that slows down the rate of filtration. Also, the top unit fits a variety of sizes of lower receptable - useful when one cracks the bottom unit as I did. The top now fits perfectly well on my old small glass cafetiere. Would also fit over mug.
