Just received the glasses and tried out with a latte. Looks great and keeps the coffee hot as it should. However, ignore the dimensions and weight in the product details. They are 9cm tall 8cm across at the top and 5.5 cm across at the bottom. They also weigh 108g each. I don't know what the product details refer to but I nearly canceled my order when I saw the size as it would not have fitted my Nespresso machine. Turns out it fits perfectly. (The volume is almost correct Bodum quote 8.5 oz on the box!)

These glasses are brilliant. They are perfect for hot or cold drinks and always raise a gasp from guests as I hand them their hot drink in a glass with no handle. The visual effect of the drink floating in mid air is good too. When used for hot drinks the outside becomes very pleasantly warm - just nice to wrap your hands around. If you're troubled by cold hands then the insulating effect for cold drinks is extremely handy too. This size is about equivalent to a large cup or small mug.
One warning however; it is very easy to be misled on the heat of your drink by the gentle warmth on the outside - you must remember that it may still be boiling hot on the inside.

I've bought 4 of each size of these. One of the large ones arrived with the inside glass cracked at the bottom. One of the 9oz arrived smashed to bits in the pack (Amazon replaced thank you) and now I have to dump a 9 oz and a 15 oz (both 2 weeks outside warranty) because liquid has somehow got in between the layers via some micro cracks or the rubber bit on the bottom. They look amazing, are a great idea but given that you will end up throwing half of them away within three months, I'd chose something else.

Not dishwasher safe??
Perhaps I missed something on the packaging, but the first time I used them, then washed them in the dishwasher, they developed a cloudiness in between the glass layers. Read more
