    I bought this recently as I had seen it in store on the high street. I think they must have changed the red colour as it certainly does not have a orange/red effect going on (previous review). As for the toasting mechanism, does exactly what it should and looks great.

    It's not red! 13 Mar 2010
    I bought this toaster because it is described as red, and the picture shows it to be a nice bright pillar box/fire engine red, right?
    Wrong - it's a sort of orange-brown. The images shown must have been heavily manipulated to get that colour.
    I can't comment on it's usefulness as a toaster, because I put it back in it's box as soon as I saw what colour it was.
