Product Description

Product Description

Tea and the British seem to be inseparable in our perception of English culture. When Bodum was asked by the British Tea Council to develop a new way of brewing tea we were rather proud. We set out with the goal to make an innovation in tea drinking, and the Bodum tea-brewing system was born. The right way to brew tea to an individual taste! As simple as: Boil water... Place your preferred tealeaves in the strainer... Pour in the hot water... Place the plunger in the strainer... Wait 3-4 min. or to your preferred taste... Press down the plunger... The brewing process has stopped!

It is a Tea Pot, 28 Dec 2005
It makes Tea. But is smaller than I had thought it would be. enough for one big morning cuppa or a twin small mug. However the Bodum plunge system works very well.

Really pleased with this pot- it makes excellent tea and holds just the right ammount for two people. the fact that it is transparent is great too - it allows you to see when the pot has brewed to how you like it. the plunger is an added bonus, squeazing all theflavour out and keeping the loose leaves together away from the cup. only thing is stains do show up if you, like me are a little lack lustre when it comes to scrubbing.

Love it! 25 Sep 2011
My husband has just got into real tea after drinking it on holiday. Carefully researched and we came up with this one. it does the job really well. No mess tea leaves until you come to empty them and this is easy to do. Good size you get two mugs out of it or several smaller cups if you prefer. Overall very pleased with it.

No mess but tea goes cold quickly
Got this for Christmas from my mum but so far I am not very impressed. I have not used other loose tea infusers so I cannot compare. Read more

I like it a lot. Great incapsuling of the spent tea in the bottom, so it doesn't overextract, and holds a bit more than 0.5 liters, maybe 0,6-0,75 liters.

Ideal for herbal teabags
As a herbal tea drinker who enjoys her tea very hot I have always found it difficult to brew the teabag and still keep the tea piping hot - not any more. Read more

Great teapot
This teapot is exactly as described. I can see why some of the reviewers complained about the lack of holes in the bottom of the steel filter, and it is true. Read more

cute little tea pot
I must say that it's much smaller than I thought it would be, but I still love it. It's perfect for 1-2 people, very neat, easy to wash. Read more

Not good enough for loose leaf
The filter allowed did not filter out all of the tea leaves which meant the cup of tea was a bit muddy
