The container will hold enough coffee beans for an 8 cup Bodum coffee maker. Set the grinding control to your desired choice, fine grinding for espresso, medium grinding for filter coffee machines and coarse grinding for BODUM french press coffee makers. This is adjusted by loosening the chrome knob and moving the current setting to your desired choice.
