My little boys absolutely love this DVD. It shows roads and bridges being made, featuring lots of trucks and machinery etc, a must for all boys and tomboys :o)
My son absolutely loves this DVD. The combination of Bob and real life footage of road construction sites is perfect, and really educational.
My son now knows about the stages of construction (planning, construction, completion), foundations, concrete etc.
We've also watched the trains and treehouses On-site DVD, and that's equally good (if not better).
I would highly recommend this if your child is in to how things work, are made etc.

I got this DVD for my little boy who is tractor/digger/dumper mad, he has never watched Bob the builder, but I thought he would find the mixture of animation and "on site" scenes interesting.
He does like the DVD, but not as much as he LOVES the Big Machines DVD. I don't like it as much because all the on site stuff is very old american footage, so just not relevant.
I think it would have be much better to show UK footage, and not re-hash footage from the states which is old, and has a poor colour...with the bright animation of Bob, to then go to the old fashioned footage is a bit rubbish :-(

Absolutely addictive!

Bought as a present so not watched but the two year I bought it for
