I have never heard of this Funkstar De Luxe before, but I can't wait to hear some more! This is one of the biggest club tracks of the moment. And with good reason. Once you hear it, you'll know why. A fantastic pumping bassline with the vocal stylings of the legendary Bob Marley! What more can you ask for. The version of the disc that I have is the Canadian single, so I don't know if this one has the same remixes (I believe that it does because my remixes are liscensed from a German Label). The versions on my cd are:1) Radio De Luxe Edit - 3:59 2) Rainbow Mix - 6:03 3) Funkstar Club Mix - 8:14
All of these sound the same, but it is well worth it! Now you have to watch out when purchasing this single! There are another batch of remixes out there that are HORRIBLE! Those remixes are done by The Ibiza Allstars and the Messy Boys and are pure garbage. The names of those mixes are The Island Mix Radio Edit, The Island Mix Extended Version (those two mixed by The Ibiza Allstars) and The Messy Boys Remix (remixed by The Messy Boys). Steer clear of these ones and only purchase the single with the name Funkstar De Luxe on it! The Funkstar mixes sound better because he has tweaked the vocals a little bit, which works wonders! The other mixes keep Bob's original vocals intact, which do not work with the beats that they put behind it. So do yourself a favour, pick up the Funkstar De Luxe mixes of "Sun Is Shining" - it's a great little party number that everyone should enjoy.
