Overall a rather poor presentation of general material. As a Bob Hope fan I was glad to add some of the film clips to my collection, but would have liked a little bit more professional re-mastering of the material overall.

This 100th Anniversary box set is a truly great lasting tribute to one of the worlds best loved comedians. Bob Hopes Work has been an inspiration to a generation of aspiring, young comedians. The world was deeply and profoundly saddened at the recent death of Bob and I urge anyone who has not yet seen a Bob Hope film or show to Buy this box set. You dont know what you're missing.

This collection is worth the purchase price if you do not already own "Road to Bali". Bob fans will also find value in the segments from 50's TV shows in which Bob guest starred on the Jack Benny show and on the Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra show. There is also a segment in which Bob guest stars on the Bobby Darin show. Other material includes segments recorded (in a studio) in front of serving military personnel from the 40's and 50's of sketches, dancing and singing from Bob and his guests. The sketches are lampoons of military life and are great vehicles for Bob's wit and physical timing.
Unfortunately much of the material in this collection is of "less than perfect" video and audio reproduction with little effort in cleaning up the original source sound and vision evident.
This is most notable on the copy of "My Favourite Brunette" which is nearly inaudible and very washed-out visually. This is a classic early Bob film so don't buy this set if all you are after is this film. There are other productions of "My Favourite Brunette" available from other publishers.

I was Disappointment on the whole DVD`s I wish it gave more information on each DVD`s I did realize each DVD`s had a lot bits and pieces of Bob Hope`s
career on the radio and screen. I thought it was more movies and tv shows. I really did not like it at all.

I am a Bob Hope fan so I think everything hes in is great.These are very old clips and happy to say way before my time.Bet you Can't watch it without a smile on your face.
