Bob is a wonderful picture book character and so, now the author has written chapter books, they were a natural progression for my six year old son. Bob (and best friend Barry) go to see the Stupendous Alacazamo, the famous magician. Bob is prepared to be surprised, but nothing can prepare him for the Stupendous Alacazamo's finale as he makes the moon disappear! Now Bob has one week to find the moon or he will lose his job. Prepared with lots of fish paste sandwiches and some extra batteries to power his rocket, Bob and Barry set out to solve the problem of the lost moon. The normality of Bob's world is what makes everything so funny - for example Infinity House, headquarters for the entire universe, stands on Puddle Lane between the library and the laundrette! The book is a joy and perfect as an early chapter book or to be read aloud. My son is looking forward to reading more of Bob and Barry's adventures.

My 7 year old says "its very very good".
He loved the "Bob the man on the moon" and now he is reading more by himself this was the perfect book for him to progress. ;)
