At first my son didn't even want to get in them, although he loved being in his big sister's skates. You have to wear shoes and although they adjust to size, they don't quite fit right. They are all plastic, and at that won't last that long, as being a boy, he can be destructful. :) They aren't the worst, but I have seen better.

I bought these skates as I wanted some knee and elbow pads for my son for when he is on his bike. Well that was the plan.... he saw the skates (I thought he was too young for them) and he loves them.

He has just turned 3yrs and is learning to skate, luckily he is still in nappies so the many bumps on his bum don't hurt too much!! He is getting better and the knee and elbow pads are small enough for him and fit well.

He wears his shoes inside the skates and they don't fall off or move. Pity it didn't come with a helmet but I have one of those seperately anyway.
