The answer is - nothing's wrong. My 2.5 year old loves Bob and that toy (err, doll) is very fun in short bursts, as he goes to listen the sounds for a few minutes (clear and crisp sound). However, apart from that, there is not much more he can do with it - it's sort of plush and quite big (close to 30 cm) so he can't play creatively the same way he would with small models. Also, the phrases are about 4-5 and a short version of the song, so my son gets bored soon. So overall, nice toy but don't expect to keep your toddlers entertained for long.

Bought for my grandson, his first word was BOB so obviously has taken to the builder man! Good quality, well made and very attractive with a variety of songs and sayings, don't know how long the battery life is - will see.
