Format:Audio CD
This album is a mixture of 90's rock meets 70's hippy and is surely my favalbum of '97. In december of that year i saw her at the astoria, Londonand she rocked the place performing every song to perfection.
Thealbum opens with an interesting mix of rock/hip-hop/pop song 'I Need' andfinishes with the loud but bittersweet 'Wash My Hands'. Standout tracksinclude the catchy 'My Little Town', the beautiful 'What Would Happen' andthe summery 'Somedays' which will have you singing along as you drive towork in the summer wearing shades with your window down. The now infamous'Bitch' is also included here and has become an anthem of the ninetiesthat is recognised as well as Alanis' 'Ironic' and Sheryl Crow's 'EverydayIs A Winding Road'. The best song and probably one of my favourite recordsof all time is 'It Don't Get Better', it was a real shame it was neverreleased but i had the pleasure of her finishing with this great rockballad at her gig.

This cd is a real mix of quality female angst ridden tracks that touch upon both rock and ballad elements, although some tracks do not have the lyrical and musical hooks that others have and certainly do not merit the use of the repeat button. If I had control over this album I would give Meredith a pat on the back for "I need", "Bitch" and "What would happen" but send her back home with "It don't get better", "My little town" and "Birthday" with a D- and a note to try harder next time. Still, a good way to spend some of your hard earned cash if you like singing along to some girly tracks that have grown-up and well written lyrics.

This album is so good. I find I like every track on this CD, especially the track 'What would Happen' I purchased this album when my life was quite stressfull and I found the angst in the lyrics very theraputic. If you like Alannis Morrisette you should love this album.
