Little Britain
This album is the point in Blur's rambling musical career where it all came together. The band may well disagree with this, but this is the most cohesive album they produced...

It's all a bit of a... Blur. Well not really
As the album that made Blur the defining Britpop band, it's also the definitive Britpop album. As an exploration of working class Britain to doolalling over the thoughts of Magic...

This is great for newcomers, not for real fans.
Having read the previous reviews, I can understand why they may not like the CD, but I've never been a huge Blur fan.

OH MY GOD
The moment that i heard "tender" on the radio i could not wait to hear the album. When I did finally hear it, i was not dissapointed.

Blurs Finest Effort
I love the rest of them but this is my favorite Blur album and one of my all time favorites. It's more downbeat, emotional and personal than their usual fare until then.

Modern Life Is Rubbish? Too True
It's true. It is soooooo true. Modern life really is rubbish. It was so much better back in the 90's; particularly in 1993 when Blur released their second album "Modern Life Is...

A step ahead of 'brit-pop', this is a new sound for Blur.
It is likely that the majority of Blur fans who purchased this album as soon as it was released were, like me, expecting more of the fun, catchy tunes that featured on Parklife...

Extraordinary.
The Britpop bubble was about to burst by 1997. Blur's previous album, The Great Escape, was a slightly watered-down but still impressive rehash of their previous two; the...

The band's most misunderstood album
Although I can understand why so many people slate this album, I can't agree with them. Sure, it may be somewhat overproduced, but LISTEN to the album instead of going along with...

Still Great
I bought this album YEARS ago and lost it... I picked it up again and it is still exceptional. A fantastic piece of pure Blur, social satire and fantastic tunes, with a little...

Stunning
This is one of the best albums that I have ever heard. I have to admit, I was not a big Blur fan during the Britpop era-I tended to side more with Oasis' style of music, but this...

Stood the test of time better than many would of thought
One thing i would like to make clear from the outset. This album is from the tail end of the baggy era.

Imperfect, but much, much better than its reputation suggests.
The mix is this album's greatest problem. Though it's often said that Leisure is a 'baggy' album, it isn't.
