This book will not give you loads of new information - supposing you read a lot about Japan and the Japanese already - but it will tell you in the funniest way possible. I laughed from the first word to the last. If you haven't read much about Japan - yet - you will; this book will give you enough strength to embark on the dry staff.
At the end I wondered whether the Japanese have changed much since the late 80's and if there would be an updated version of this book. I would rush out and buy it!
Oh! And if you are Japanese: don't open it! Unless you can laugh at yourself the way you are described in the book that is.
