Product Description

Synopsis

From the Bluffer's Guide to the Flight Deck: Psychologists put pilots' stress levels at the top of the league alongside surgeons, although the latter have an advantage - if the scalpel slips they do not accompany the patient to the mortuary. The pilot's stress is rarely apparent, except when the airline loses his suitcase. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

An excellent light hearted look at the operations on the flight deck and a great insight into how it all works. Very amusing in places, it also delivers alot of facts and useful information. Guaranteed to make you sound knowledgable next time you want to visit the captain on your summer vacation!

An amazing amount of aviation info in a humorous little book 29 Dec 2001
By M. T. A. Vuister - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Written in light, humorous prose, I'd recommend it highly to anyone with even a little interest in aviation. Pros may laugh at the recognizable situations and anecdotes that Ken Beere wrote up.

While reading you learn about well known and lesser known avation items that stick with you because of the puns that go with them.

Having read this time after time, I only wish I could find more books by him.
