4.0 out of 5 stars Fun to Skim Through!, 14 July 2008

This review is from: The Bluffer's Guide to Ballet: Bluff Your Way in Ballet (Bluffer's Guides) (Paperback)
I recently purchased this book as a gift. True to its word, the book is a BRIEF review of certain words/phrases commonly used amongst persons familiar with ballet. Because it is so short, it is easy to skim through and puts off a sarcastic tone that maintains humor AND credibility.

If you would like to learn the most basic words commonly associated with ballet, this is the perfect book. Do not expect much because while the content provides basic ideas of what certain words mean, it is not meant to be used to reference unless you reference it jokingly. This book lacks detail, but again is not meant to be used seriously and would definitely get a person by should they attend one ballet. All else considered, this is a humorous book on ballet terms.
