5.0 out of 5 stars Great resource for a beginner to Blues music 14 Feb. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you think you are going to be a stage pianist using this book, then think again. However, if you want to learn the basic blocks of Blues Piano, especially the 12 bar blues (which is what I was interested in), then this is an absolute gem and worth every penny of its £1.49 kindle price.

You will need to know the basics of piano playing and be able to read notes, however, you only need to know the basics of note reading and time signatures, the rest is laid out in very easy to follow step by step guide that any one could follow. The mp3 and pdf material is an excellent addition that lets you hear and see (read) what you are supposed to be playing and well worth the money alone.

All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff! 26 Mar. 2013
By GordonO
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am currently working through a keyboard tuition book which is fine, however it does not contain any blues genre music. I bought this book to help me understand how the blues are played. Later on this will provide some musical amusement. I wholeheartedly recommend this book but you will need to read simple music and of course it will require physical practice. As far as value for money is concerned it's superb, a small book, but after you buy it you are sent a download of all the examples as PDF music sheets and listen-to MP3s. As I say good stuff and great value for money.

I did not expect such a good value product for the money. It includes music theory, plenty of examples and free mp3 example tracks.

Customer service from the supplier was prompt and responsive In dealing with a post purchase enquiry.

Highly recommended.
