This is a great book for when you are fed up of all that scale work. the arrangements are authentic and the music is well written in an easy to understand tab that helps you along. take your time listen to the cd and then play along.
there are some real classic blues songs on here, boom boom, the thrill is gone, hoochie coochie man etc. I don't think it is for real beginners, although if you are just starting out it is always good to push yourself, but don't get disheartened, the guys who played this stuff really knew their instruments and how to get the best from them.

Very good value. Great for intermediate ablility guitar player.
Hal Leonard also produce "Blues guitar method" - which is a bit easier.

This book is very good and will help you become a beter player.
I found the songs that where in it intresting and where quite enjoyable to learn.
The disc that came with the book is very well done as you can jam along with it as a backing track.There are at least three tracks to every song.
Spend money on this book & you would not be dissapointed.
