The White Solar Powered Lights Fairy Jar is a fabulous solar powered jar that captures rays of sunshine throughout the day and transforms them into a white glowing jar of dancing fairies at night. Made of glass, this magical Solar Powered Fairy Jar uses a high efficiency solar panel located in its lid, to store up the suns energy during the day. When darkness falls, the fairies then come out to play.
To activate the twinkling lights simply shake the jar to wake the 'fairies' up, (and again to send them to sleep). Or you can use the 'SENSOR' switch, which will automatically bring the fairies to life when the sun goes down. Don't worry if the sun doesn't shine as the Solar Powered Fairy Jar also has the option to use an AA battery (not included). This means that you can use this wonderfully mesmerising jar all year round!

Fairies in the jar, not too bad but if you charge it in the sun it doesn't last too long at night, about 30 mins. My 17 month old boy seems to like it and he likes shaking them awake equally tapping the jar works just as well. Nice alternative to a night light when they are going to sleep. Looks good on a table at a nightime barbecue.

When it's got enough charge, or you're using a proper battery (instead of relying on the sun charging it), the Fairy Jar is a great thing to have on a window sill. However, since I bought this for a Christmas present, there is simply not enough light during the daytime to power this up for the evening. The most it manages are a few feeble pulses now & again.. and that's it. I'm hoping the summer sun will give us the power it needs for us to enjoy it, without having to stick in a proper battery (which will last about 2-3 days).

I bought this fairy jar to use as a night light on my landing for my 5 year old daughter. When it arrived I charged it up as per the instructions and put it in place. Fabulous! Slowly twinkling fairies to guide my little girl to and from the bathroom. It has not worked since. I am very disappointed with the product.

It is not a toy!!!!!!!
Though this is a great item, it is not a toy. It is made of glass and would break quite easily!!!
