The BlueAnt S4 is the first true hands-free voice controlled Bluetooth car speakerphone. For the first time, drivers can communicate on the road without needing to touch their phone or speakerphone at all, making and receiving calls and accessing information using only their voice.
The S4 is the first speakerphone in BlueAnt’s product line to include its Simply Connect technology. When you switch it on, the S4’s embedded audio quick start guide talks you through the setup and pairing process without the need to read the manual. S4 users can then control other features and functionality with their voice such as checking the battery level, adjusting the voice recognition sensitivity, finding out if your phone is connected, entering pairing mode, turning off the LED light, as well as controlling calls and phone functions.
The S4 makes it easy to make and receive calls with just your voice, announcing callers and allowing dialing by name, and acts as a hands-free gateway to the world, providing access to email, SMS, stock quotes, movie times, weather, sports, news and traffic updates just by saying the words and all read aloud over the S4. With A2DP streaming audio, the S4 allows users to listen to music, access apps like the Vlingo SafeReader to hear email and SMS, and navigation software on their mobile phone to listen to turn-by-turn directions on the speakerphone.
Users with Android devices can further enhance their BlueAnt S4 by installing the BlueAnt S4 Android application. The application provides text message readout directly into the headset and includes help and support for your S4.
The S4 is firmware upgradable and comes with a two year manufacturer warranty.

The BlueAnt S4 works beautifully with my Blackberry's in built voice dialling system. Set-up is simple, and the battery life is fantastic. I've had good feedback about the clarity of the voice calls and it seems to do a great job of cutting out wind an engine noise even in my noisy diesel.
The clever feature is the voice recognition, no need to press buttons while driving. Just say "BlueAnt speak to me" then "phone commands" and it will initiate the voice dialling on your phone if available. then just announce who you want to call. For incoming calls it reads out the callers name and you just say "answer" to receive the call.
If your phone doesn't have voice dialling built in it will upload and manage your phonebook for you.

Having purchased a blue Ant ST3 for myself about 2months ago and was very pleased with product. I thought I would go one better and buy a Blue Ant 4 and give the 3 to my Daughter. Mistake. Whilst the 3 was easy to use ans responded well the 4 is tiresome difficult to operate and tends to do its own thing. So

The manufacturer's website clearly say that is compatible with Android 2.1 or higher. After contacting the customer service several times I haven't solved the problem. I can not make calls on my HTC Desire HD.(Android 2.3) Not compatible with the phone.

This is a very good product I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I really like it.
