Bought this to go camping with & was very impressed with how it stood up to quite windy conditions. I flew two 5' x 3' flags & considering how thin the top part is, it remained fairly straight in the wind.

I recommend the ground spike, which supports the pole so it can be free standing.

Also, you will either need to buy either the flag bungees or some string / cable ties to secure the flag to the pole

I would not hesitate to recommend this item - Delivery was within 2 days with standard delivery

was only using a relatively small windsoc but the pole broke near the base on the second day and there was only a slight breeze

The pole does it's job but it does collapse too easily especially when it is windy. Having said that, we are in a very windy position.

Product is good but not happy with false measurements as this telescopic pole is about a foot short of 4m so should not be sold as a 4m product which is what I need the pole to be.

I wanted to fly a couple of 5x3 flags for an event I ran this summer. The poles were bungeed around the legs of a gazebo. They are highly flexible at the tip, but looked great in the wind. When the wind died, it poured with rain. The flags were soaked and heavy which caused the poles to flex substantially making them look odd but hey ho, if I wanted a sturdy pole I'd have paid a lot more so no gripes really.

I bought this from which to display the Welsh and Pembrokeshire flags. I usually use cable ties to attach the pole to the upright rail on my caravan canopy . It has stood up to some very strong winds in the U.K. and Continent without any problem.
