Product Description

Display the current wi-fi signal strength to yourself and everyone around you with this stylish Wi-Fi Detector Shirt. The glowing bars on the front of the shirt dynamically change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. It shows signal strength for 802.11b or 802.11g

Made from 100% cotton, this high technology short-sleeved T-shirt features a fully functional EL (electro-luminescent) panel, powered by a battery pack cleverly hidden inside shirt pocket. The panel can be unplugged after used, so you can pop it in the wash as normal.

Care Instruction:

1. Machine wash gentle cycle on cold

2.Remove velcro fastening EL flash panel, battery pack and the whole part of connector carefully before washing

3.Do not submerge ANY part of the flash panel

Please Note: If you plug the connector into the battery pack backwards this will not damage the shirt but it will not animate properly. Simply reverse the connector and it will return to normal.

Additional Information:

1.Insert standard 4xAAA batteries (Batteries not included)

2.Slide switch to operate power

3.Do not bend or apply pressure to the flash panel.

It makes very annoying sounds, which they didn't mention. I haven't figured out how to turn them off. The volume wheel seems to be missing (and I bought 2, both have missing wheels). Also, it says L but the size is more of an XL or even XXL. (while for the electric guitar t-shirt I also got an L and it's more of an M!)

Bought this for techy b/f, and it went down very well. The detector does only seem to pick up on connections when they have traffic over them though, which is a bit annoying. Easily detachable electronics when you need to wash the t-shirt.

Bought this for my teenage son he loved this and his friends thought it was fantastic too! Just delighted with this purchase and even though other folks had said it works I was dubious. It really does work and the battery section and front cover are easily removed for washing.
