This item works fine with good light, USB2.0 and Intel Mac or Windows (proved with Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and Windows7 SP1). My USB cable arrived damaged but with another new cable all is in tune.
The micro is very good. The video can be improved on lowlight, but for now is one of a few solutions for Skype on MacPro Intel 10.6.6 and display without webcam.

Really nice and clear mic! use it for a lot of youtube videos and get good comments! rarely use the camera but its looks good!

Wish I'd bought an iSight
Very disappointed with the video quality on my set up - which is a pretty good G5 Powermac. Wish I'd spent a bit more on a s/h iSight camera. Read more
