Cog Intimo - Underground Edition. A celebration of the London Underground map, a true graphic design icon originally designed in 1931 by Harry Beck. This sophisticated modern pendant shade is ideally suited to the proportions and ceiling heights of modern homes. Cog Intimo is made of three interlocking components that almost entirely eliminate any surface for dust to settle on. The three parts form softly illuminated slices that use a section of the Underground map to add a splash of colour. All Blue Marmalade's design ingenuity has gone into developing this shade so that it can be made from a single recycled plastic, whilst still being able to accommodate up to 100W light bulbs. Cog Intimo is designed with energy-saving light bulbs in mind, so it will fit most, but especially the stick style, energy saver light bulbs.

Once I got my head around the instructions it didn't take too long to put up.
Very attractive lampshade though - quite happy with it, as it's quite different to anything else I'd seen.

Easy to dust and clean. Assembly was fine but instructions need a bit more detail. Delivery was quick and packaging was ok. Probably not suitable for those with low ceilings. Fitted it with an energy saving bulb, although it was a slightly tight fit.
The cog design is very modern and the tube map is not overpowering - it's really very cool. Have had many comments on it. The plastic makes the naked bulb not too prominant and it fits regular and energy saving bulbs.
