Factual but dry 19 Dec 2010
Format:Paperback
We run a Guest House near Hay-on-Wye and I bought this book as I thought it would be useful for our guests. It's a small pocket size book, long on history and architecture but somehow fails to capture the spirit and vibrancy of life in Hay. Factually there is everything you ever needed to know about the town and it's buildings, but it could have done with more pictures especially shots of the residents and visitors to portray the atmosphere of Hay-on-Wye that makes it unique.
