5.0 out of 5 stars one of the best animes around 17 Dec 2003
Format:DVD
it was seeing these three episodes that led to me purchasing the series on dvd.
This series is superb, featuring excellent mech design and has characters that actually interact (unlike other series', mentioning no names...)
This series will batter at your expectaions, throwing away characters in a few seconds, leaving you briefly shocked at the suddeness of their slaughter, and confound your expectations, letting characters that you would have expected to be saved die as one of the blue (strange alien creatures that have invaded earth to fold humanity up into little green balls -no joke- so that they can later return to feed. Oh yeah, and i believe they also eat anything, and tend to burst out of the ground or through walls...) flashes past like an 18-wheeler truck.
So... not for the easily shocked, but otherwise a sound, solid series, especially for those who got into the giant robot genre through neon genesis evangelion (i know i did...)

4.0 out of 5 stars My Opinions On Blue Gender Vol. 2 21 Nov 2002
Format:DVD
Again the action comes thick and fast. This next installment from Abe Musashi kept me on the edge of my seat - I couldnt pull myself away from the screen. I was constantly surprised at the route the film was taking - who lived, who died and how the plot is unfolding. It is definitely worth gettin - if you liked the first volume then you'll find the serkeeps getting better. You get the feeling that it is building up to something big.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing DVD Max Bowen's Review 23 Jan 2005
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
I just got this DVD in the mail today, and I was really excited because the first one was good and I wanted to see what happened next. The first episode, "Agony", showed the tension between those who still inhabit the Earth and those who live at second Earth. Yuji breaks Marlene's orders by saving a girl named Yung's life. Yuji then promises to take care of Yung.

Factor 5, Priority, is the best in the series so far. It has an awesome action sequence. Yung dies.

Factor 6, Relation, is about Marlene and Yuji being in the mountains trying to get to Russia. Marlene gets more fatigued and starts acting more human.
