4.0 out of 5 stars entertaining short story 28 Jun. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm not a big reader I'll be the first to admit but I like Vampires and this new short story was recommend by a friend

I read the read it in one go which is rare for me unless its one of The Walking Dead books lol

it was nice to see Vampires portrayed as the killers they are and not the sparkling emo's we've had to endure since Twight

only thing to mark it down for is some spelling/ grammar mistakes, I'm no expert but I spotted them but these these things can happen

bring on the next book please :)

5.0 out of 5 stars I got more! 28 July 2012
By MJS
Format:Kindle Edition
Had read Black Eyes in one go and did the same with this.

A few minor grammar errors but all in all a very entertaining read and thank fully not a sparkling vampire in sight.

Just one question?

When is the next one?

5.0 out of 5 stars Must Read! 2 Aug. 2012
By Sara Steffens - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Grabs you from the beginning. Love how she made this vampire story all her own. And the best part is for all you new people coming on board, you don't have to be sad where it ends anymore because BLACK EYES is out!

4.0 out of 5 stars Short but good gread 26 Jun. 2012
By Cat Alley - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is short by any standards and has a few grammatical errors. With that said it was a good book. It put an interesting twist of vampires that is rarely used and the author left it wide open at the end for another book if not more than one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read that has a unique view of vampires 21 Oct. 2013
By Peter W. Spearing - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found that this story drew me in and kept me wanting to know what happens next. It's more of a long short story or possibly a novellette than a novel. The author could have given us more about the characters without spoiling the story. Answers to questions like what James does to earn a living and how Sarah sustains herself would have helped make the characters more real.
