Format:Mass Market Paperback
This book is great, as is the whole 'Split Infinity' trilogy. The only thing I have to comment on is the fact that Anthony's plots and sub-plots can be a little predictable, in a nice way! You can generally work out the outcome of a chapter long before you actually get there, which can be disappointing. All in all though, this book and it's counterparts are very good, his writing style is easy to absorb and you do get very attached to the characters. The contrast between two worlds is also a briliant idea.

This is a rollicking pacy enjoyable read. It rollicks. The little hero is now set up as a wizard in magic world, so he can set about finding out who killed his other self, the Blue Adept, and also who shot him in science world, while winning the heart of the Lady Blue. He dashes from the science world, where he is engaged in the Tournament of games, the winner of which gets to be a ruler, to the magic world where he wins the trust and friendship of all and sundry by being friendly and trustworthy and so the plot unfolds. He has a sexy robot watching his back in science world and a sexy unicorn in the fantasy world. Of course he wins the heart of the Lady Blue and there is a tidy ending. A good light holiday read.

The second novel from the 'Split Infinity' trilogy continues the story of the newly formed magician Stile who seeks out a mystical enemy in the land of Phaze. Written with enticingly descriptive and imaginitive forthought it captures you and you find yourself amongst the many wonderfully colourful characters. Totally fantasy - wonderfully entertaining - pure escapism. Read it.
