Its fresh every time you hear it! 19 May 2002

I've had this album since 1996, and i will never get board of it. It appeals to both jazz and hip-hop lovers and it even goes wider than that. It is pure proggresion from the first album (a new refutation of time and space), and im forever living in hope of some more work from this immensely talented group.
A must buy it will open your ears and eyes!!

I knew this album ever since it came out, but never really got into it, and now I wonder why because, essentially, this is an amazing piece of music. For a mid-90s hip-hop record it shows incredible musical awareness and a playful hunger for experimentation. Never straying too far from banging New York rap, as when joined by Guru and Jeru da Damaja, the Planets nevertheless reach new heights, as on their first album, by cleverly blending intelligent rhymes with deeply jazzy influences. If you enjoy contemporary work by artists such as the Roots or Common, you are going to love this.

This album is a nice follow on from Irrefutable space and time. More upbeat with more funk licks. Ohio players are used for a corking funk track. Easy on the ears and at times just the sort of thing for a nice quiet sunday or a Friday night soiree. Buy it people.
